“I’ll start out by saying that I’ve loved Karens work from the moment I saw it. She is so relatable – a full time wife and mother, working outside the home and also a serious hobbyist who takes STUNNING photos of her boys. When I found out she was offering a class at In Beauty & Chaos, I signed up for full participation the MINUTE registration opened.

Karen packs a TON of information in this four week course – she is very generous and holds nothing back. The assignments and course materials are comprehensive and eye opening – each week, I was taken out of my comfort zone and pushed in ways I didn’t think possible. The feedback on my assignments were detailed and thoughtful. There is something for everyone in this class – it’s perfect for beginners and seasoned pro’s alike. I used to avoid shooting in full sun, harsh light and small apertures – now I seek it out! Karen has given me the tools to creatively shoot in any lighting situation. It’s liberating to know that I can shoot anywhere at anytime in any light. Thank you so much Karen for pouring so much of your heart and soul into this course!

If you take one class this year – THIS MUST BE the one!!!!”

“Karen Osdieck’s Capturing Imagery with Purpose was exactly what I was looking for! I’ve taken several classes over the past two years and this one is packed full of new content that really pushed me to become a more skilled artist. Even as a professional photographer, I found that I was able to gain a ton of knowledge from working with Karen. She walked me though all of her examples and ensured that I understood the material being taught. Her personal feedback on the images submitted for the assignments really made this class perfect on so many levels. Her feedback was in-depth and not only showed me what I did well, but also left me with suggestions on how to improve the image next time around. There is always room to grow no matter where you are in your photography journey. Karen’s class will certainly push you to the next level! Thank you Karen for such an engaging class!”

“I got to do the test run of this workshop and I loved it! It’s jam packed with information; it’s easy to follow, lots of amazing examples, and exercises that really bring it all together. It’s great for all levels from beginner to advanced and it covers so so so much. It covers so much it’s hard to believe this is one course, I’ve never seen a lighting course so comprehensive. Karen is extremely hands on and really guides you through the course and leaves no stone unturned. It is super exciting to see this course added to the B&C lineup.”

~ Review from Courtney Rust of The Rusty Lens.

Karen’s course Capturing Imagery with Purpose was chalk full of so much information but it was laid out in such a way that I never felt overwhelmed with knowledge. With having said that Karen was always available to answer whatever questions I needed and she is an excellent teacher. She just knows how to explain things so that I could understand them. This is a perfect course for anyone who is looking to learn and perfect advanced shooting techniques. Karen teaches you all the steps and tricks you need to succeed. I can’t wait to try some more panning once the snow goes away!

Hi Mindy! Thanks for reaching out! I will be having another run of the workshop but I’m not sure of the dates yet! They are all online and very flexible. Follow me on Facebook and instagram for updates on the next one. Also if you wanted to become a member at the In Beauty & Chaos photography forum (that is where I teach the class through) you would get updates and have access to the early registration! 🙂 http://www.inbeautyandchaos.comReplyCancel
